Spectacular ‘Show’ caves: Trained guides lead you through a choice of 10 outstanding show caves and explain the processes that formed this natural wonder. Secure walkways and subtle technology give you the best understanding of this magical underworld. A maze of ancient limestone caverns richly draped with exotic mineral deposits and cut through by subterranean rivers give you the true Jenolan underground experience. A great value Jenolan Pass includes a show cave, self-guided tour of the Nettle Cave and discounts for further tours.
Exciting Adventure caves: We offer 4 exhilarating Adventure Caving tours for those who wish to venture beyond the cut paths and the fixed lights with only a headlamp to light the way. You can squeeze, scramble and scale through ancient and winding chambers. Our adventure caves consist of:
-The Plughole - a comprehensive introduction to Adventure Caving, with an abseil kicking off the tour.
-The Aladdin Cave Adventure & Mammoth Cave Tours are thrilling, with climbing and crawling, a rope assisted traverse and a slide to the cave floor. You won’t forget this experience too soon.
-The Central River Adventure Tour is the longest and most strenuous of our expeditions. It involves two 35 metre abseils, and extensive climbing.
Your experienced guides will provide all your gear, including overalls, kneepads, helmet and head torch. Call us to secure a place for your true underground adventure.
Fun theme tours: The spinetingling ‘Mysteries, Legends & Ghosts’ tour runs every Saturday night and is suitable for adults and older children. Other special tours run at night during school holiday and long weekends. From time to time, there are fun and fascinating tours that bring Jenolan’s unusual history to life.
