Christmas In Sydney
St Patrick's Day (March 17).
St Patrick's Day parade Sydney starts at the corner of George and Bathurst Street on March 16th commencing at 12 noon. Decorated Floats, Irish bands lots of Irish jigs and merriment , people mark the event by the wearing of green clothing, drinking Guinness and of course Irish dancing at the local Pubs and clubs.
Royal Easter Show Sydney
The Sydney Royal Easter Show is the largest annual event staged in Australia,
Attracting an average of 900,000 Visitors a year.
Sydney Showground, at Sydney Olympic Park is transformed to play host to a festival that is unique to Australia and its diverse cultural and rural heritage.
The Show runs for 14 days over the Easter period, starting the day before Good Friday, Thursday 20 March and running until Wednesday 2 April. It is a pinnacle event enjoyed by Australians of all ages. All tickets for the show are inclusive of public transport, entry and GST.
